Christmas in Red River
Spending Christmas in Red River

Whether this is your first Christmas trip to Red River or an annual tradition, you'll want to know what activities are on the "must do" list while you're here.  If lights are your thing you'll love the Christmas Eve torchlight parade & fireworks display at the Lift House and the Christmas Luminaria Tour at the Enchanted Forest.  Families love skiing with Santa at the Red River Ski Area on Christmas Day, where you'll also find a special Christmas meal being served at the Main Chalet.  If you'd prefer to spend Christmas off the snow, Red River's 29 shops and boutiques are open for business through the holidays. Searching for somewhere spiritual to worship? Both the First Baptist Church of Red River and Faith Mountain Fellowship Church will have special services on Christmas Eve. You'll also enjoy Red River's Christmas carolers strolling down Main Street keeping you filled with joy and in the Christmas spirit! Find out more about what's happening this Christmas at
RedRiver.org.

Snowmobile
Get Your Motor Runnin'...
Red River is not just about some of the best skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing in the state. We also have incredible opportunities to rev it up while checking out some beautiful scenery and history. We have four tour companies in Red River that can set you and your group up for a trip of a lifetime. Guided tour options include Greenie Peak, Midnight Meadows, Goose Lake, Bobcat Pass, and an evening trip up the Red River Ski Area. Find out more about snowmobiling in Red River and see our snowmobiling video here.
Music at the Lift HouseApres' Ski in Red River
For years Red River has been known as the "Nightlife Capital of the Region" so there's no reason to head home as soon as the lifts close. Got kids? Try tubing at the ski area. No kids? Warm up with a specialty drink at the Lift House. Looking for adventure? Head out for an evening snowmobile tour at the Red River Ski Area.
Hungry for a juicy steak, hearty pasta dish, spicy enchiladas, or a pizza? One of our seventeen restaurants will have something to please your entire party. Need to burn some calories (and maybe a little cash)? Head out to Main Street for great boutiques and fantastic shopping all in one convenient place. Ready to put on your dancing shoes? Red River has five live music venues that offer a wide variety of entertainment. Need to get the teens out of your hair? Send them to CHILL at the Community House for free, chaperoned fun. Whatever you're in the mood to do once you're off the slopes, do it here in Red River!
