Red River Ski Area
After 35 years of loyal service, the Red River Ski Area's "Red Chair" was replaced with a new triple chairlift this season.  "We've been planning on this replacement for the past three years," says ski area Marketing Director Lauren House. "The new chair decreases the ride time by roughly five minutes and increases our capacity by 50%. We're all very excited!"

As for the name of the new chair, the management team at the Red
River Ski Area says they're still feeling it out. "This is the third
generation of the 'Red Chair,'" says General Manager Denny Judycki. "We're hesitant to give it a more permanent name right now, but we will know what to name the new chair once we've spent some quality time with it this season."
