Make sure you listen to 90.9 FM WBUR - one of Boston's NPR stations - tomorrow morning, July 17th, during the "Morning Edition" program.  Jill Lacey Griffin, one of the co-chairs of the SkillWorks Funders Group, will be discussing with Curt Nickisch the challenges and opportunities facing employers and employees in the Green Collar economy.  WBUR's "Morning Edition" runs from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at 90.9 FM.

As part of Phase II of SkillWorks, we recently launched our Green Collar Career Pathways Initiative.  In June, we awarded planning grants to three organizations supporting them in developing viable and sustainable workforce development models within the emerging green jobs sector.  We will make sure to keep you informed of our new initiative.
