Registration deadline for Emerge is tomorrow (8/17)! Our new leadership initiative is a week away. On Friday, Aug. 24, the NWC will launch Emerge - a weekend leadership retreat designed for high school students to explore who they are as leaders.
Emerge provides combines practical teaching, hands-on interactive learning experiences and time for individual reflection, peer-to-peer feedback and group worship. This is a national Covenant initiative that is being piloted in the Northwest Conference, and this is the only time all four of the Emerge presenters will be at one retreat. It takes place Aug. 24-26 at Lake Beauty Bible Camp. The cost is $75 per person. Registration materials and a promotional flyer are available at nwc-cov.org/children-youth-family/emerge. You need to let us know if you're attending by tomorrow: Friday, Aug. 17. If you have students who want to attend, but don't have a leader available, please contact Ginny at ginny@nwc-cov.org and we'll seek to place him or her with another youth ministry.
