Thursday, March 15, we're joined by Heather Flies, jr. high pastor at Wooddale Church. She has years of experience in jr. high ministry and comes with great stories and practical wisdom. If you were at Recharge, you heard her encourage youth workers in the morning session. She's a frequent speaker at youth worker conferences and is the author of "I Want to Talk with My Teen about Girl Stuff" and co-author of "That's What She Said/He Said."
Bring your lunch and join us from 12 to 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Covenant in Minneapolis (3141 43rd Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55406-2292) (www.bethlehemcov.org).
Next month: We're joining with the Church Planter's Connection on Thursday, April 19, from 12 to 3 p.m. to hear from Soong-Chan Rah. Soong-Chan is a writer, advocate, North Park seminary professor and former church planter. Rah is also the speaker for the 2012 NWC Annual Meeting.
He's the author of "The Next Evangelicalism," "Many Colors: Cultural Intelligence for a Changing Church" and his newest book, "Honoring the Generations: Learning with Asian North American Congregations" with M. Sydney Park and Al Tizon. You can follow his blog at profrah.wordpress.com
