Rouge Valley Centenary Buy a Bed campaign

Heart of it All
Greetings!

If you think you have seen our happy Dr. Snowman driving around Ajax and Pickering recently, you aren't seeing things. We've spread our message of the Gift of Health to two buses travelling different routes in the community. It's one part of our campaign to let you know how you can help your community hospitals this holiday season.

We are very grateful for the support of our donors, like you, and we hope when you consider charitable gifts this month, you will think of the Rouge Valley Health System Foundation. Aside from financial gifts, keep in mind that your business or staff can host a toy drive, and we can help you share these gifts with children who need care at Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering or Rouge Valley Centenary during the holiday season.

To find out more, call 905-683-2320 ext. 1501 or 416-281-7342 to tell us about your toy drive, or to make an online donation, click here

Thank you, and best regards,

Chad Hanna, President & CEO

That's why they want to give patients at their community hospital a strong foundation for healing and recuperating. They are asking clients to contribute to their goal to buy a bed for Rouge Valley Centenary.

This business is family and physiotherapist owned and operated clinic committed to caring and promoting health and wellness for active people of all ages.

Community Barry and Sheila
spirit for
their hospital

Barry and Sheila visited Rouge Valley Centenary hospital (RVC) this week to spread some holiday cheer. They delivered two Christmas trees, decorations and a collection of stuffed toys for the children on the paediatrics floor.

Barry & Sheila live in the area, and wanted to help ensure that our young patients had smiles on their faces during the holiday season.

Pictured, from left, are Roselyn Sagar-Lal, the Foundation's Major & Community Giving Officer, Barry, Sheila and Alex, a Child Life Specialist at RVC.

Alma Kelley, an OR nurse at Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering, has once again spearheaded a new painting exhibit on display at the hospital's west entrance.

Amateur painters have again donated some of their pieces for the enjoyment of patients, visitors, volunteers and staff. Pictured is club teacher Patrick Hickman, with his work. Click here to see the painting exhibition.
