Heart of it All
Greetings!

This edition of Community Giving is cram-packed with exciting news from the Rouge Valley Health System Foundation. It is truly amazing how busy the Rouge Valley hospitals are and how fortunate we are that we have amazing donors and volunteers like you, who support the Foundation's different fundraising events!

Please have a look at the reports below and follow the read more links to see all of the great photography from each event and find out how the Foundation is helping the hospital, with your support making it possible.

Also, take note of a new special event that is upcoming, with Casino Rouge a mere four weeks from reality. We are so excited to have secured the tiff. Bell Lightbox for this amazing fundraiser for the Heart of it All campaign.

Thank you again for your support and please be sure to contact the Foundation if you have any feedback on our Community Giving eNewsletter. We always welcome your comments and suggestions.

HUFF
Film festival celebrates hygiene

Rouge Valley Health System is holding its first-ever Hands Up Film Festival (HUFF) from Sept. 8 to 26, 2011. The festival showcases 10 one-minute-long films that were produced by and feature our own Rouge Valley staff, physicians and volunteers.

We challenged everyone working at the hospital to demonstrate why they feel practicing proper hand hygiene is so important, and put it in a movie - and they accepted that challenge!

Now is your chance to participate in HUFF. View all the films and vote for your favourite by Sept. 26. We will announce our festival winner on October 6, 2011. Read more about the contest and vote at www.rougevalley.ca
