Are you still dreaming of the south of France in 2010?  If so, let me know~ At last,  Fleur d'Uzes- le Muget OWNERSHIP SHARES are available!

Located in a quaint village near the Pont du Gard and only a 10 minute drive from lively Uzes,  le Muget (Lily of the Valley) is part of an ancient monastery from the 17th century and has been entirely renovated.

The village of Vers-Pont-du-Gard is a typical Provencal village with all the amenties; a B&B, restaurant, bar, store, Mairie and of course, the village square with boules court, just below our home. With the charm of small village life but right down the road from city life in Uzes, Nimes, Arles, and Aviignon, what could be better? Schedule a local cooking class, explore the villages of Peter Mayle fame, or canoe down the river, your life in southern France has just begun.

Our home includes: 40m living room with fireplace and vaulted ceiling, a fully fitted kitchen,2  Bedrooms, 2 baths and a 34m roof-terrace as well as a patio overlooking the village square. With a lovely view of the village and the mountains, the stone quarries of Vers were the source for the foundation of the Pont du Gard Roman aquaduct, one of the most visited sites in all of France.

Fleur d'Uzes le Muget - 1/13th share -$53900- $63900

I believe you'll appreciate our new method of booking time at Le Muget.  Many of us want to cut down on travel costs and spend the maximum time in Europe possible and/or trade time with others in the rotation cycle. With that in mind, we plan to have FOUR WEEK OWNERSHIPS, on a rotating basis between April and December. Also, for folks who would love to land in France for the same four weeks each winter, there will be THREE non-rotating shares of deeded ownership from January-March. Hmm- might you want to escape Canada for 2 or 3 months each winter??

Uzs

As one of the most beautiful towns of its size in France,  Uzes was declared a national treasure in the sixties by Andr Malraux, then minister of culture. The towers of its duch dominate the skyline. Built from the white limestone on which it stands, it is the perfect place to forget about time, relax, and lose yourself in the maze of little streets full of cafs, restaurants and historic sites, or to walk in the shady river valley to inspect the remains of the Roman aqueduct and the spring which once supplied it.. The market stalls and small shops contain a wide variety of fresh local produce - olives, spices, fish, wine, lavender honey, cheese and fabrics of Provence. There are also three supermarkets nearby.
This is a year round destination as Uzs hosts an annual Dance Festival in June, 'Les Nuits Musicales' a classical music festival from mid July with concerts in the courtyard of the Duch and in the 17th century cathedral. Even out of season Uzs puts on special events like the Day of the Truffle in January or the Donkey Festival in September. A Pottery Market and an Artists' Market are held in the Spring. During the Fte Votive in August barriers line the boulevards and bulls run the circuit while horsemen attempt to herd them together.
