Information & Orientation Meeting
| **For All Teachers and Those Who May Be Interested in Teaching**
All those planning to teach in any of our Sunday school classes this year {Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Upper Elementary School, Middle and High School programs} shoul dplan to attend an orientation and planning meeting either this coming Saturday, August 4 at 3pm
or next Wednesday, August 8 at 6:30 pm.

"Blessed to Be An Episcopalian"
| Kicks Off September 9 The Fall schedule of Adult Sunday school and weekday Christian formation programs is now online. The Rector's forum begins with a mulit-part series, "Blessed To Be An Episcopalian," and Bishop Alexander will be the keynote speaker launching this series. During the week, we'll resume our Growing In Faith Wednesday night program beginning with a study in Christian mission & service: Get Uncomfortable: Serve the Poor. Stop Injustice. Change the World...In Jesus' Name. Then beginning in November we will begin a series entitled, "Reel Faith." Our Thursday Bible Study resumes in September and will focus on The Gospel of St. John. Calling All Those 55+
| Holy Oldies "Safari Party" All those age 55 and up are invited to the Holy Oldies Safari party that will be Saturday, August 18 at 7:00 pm. The cost is only $5 per person and you can sign up at the Welcome Table on Sunday mornings.

Choirs Resume Rehearsals
|
Our St. Columba Choir resumes rehearsals this Thursday, August 2 at 7:00 pm and will begin singing at Mass on Sunday, August 19 as we observe the Feast of the Assumption of St. Mary. Our St. Columba Choristers resume rehearsals Wednesday, August 15 at 5:15 pm. New voices for both choirs are warmly invited. If you have any questions, please speak with Daniel after Mass or call the parish office.

Parish Workday Scheduled

Saturday, August 25, 8:00am until 12:00 noonIt's time for our annual pre-Rally Sunday parish workday. We will have projects great and small, inside and out, as we we spruce up the buildings and grounds for Rally Sunday and Bishop Alexander's visitation. Come for all or even part of the day. Lunch will be served, all are welcome to help!

Congratulations to Easton Davis & Kimberli Kramer!
| Our youth director, Easton Davis, will be married to Kimberli Kramer on August 18! We are very excited not only that Easton has joined our parish staff and has begun to re-energize and lead our youth ministry program, but also for his upcoming marriage. We are taking up a thank offering to give to Easton and Kimberli and if you would like to contribute, you can donate online or earmark a check "Easton Davis Wedding" and place it in the collection plate on Sunday mornings.
