BUSINESS UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT:
BarCast Network

Improving Bars, One Screen at a Time
Have you seen quirky rectangular screens popping up in bars around the Boston area -- with patrons who seem to be sending text messages to the screen's stars??
BarCast Network, headquartered at 130 Broadway, is most likely the responsible party! BarCast, a pioneer in its field, is an interactive network of High Definition flat panel screens placed in bars, restaurants and clubs nationwide - that allows patrons a uniquely interactive bar experience. The content is a mix of company produced clips, user generated input (via interactive text-to-screen messaging, photo and video upload, and polling) and partner advertising. Seek it out at a bar near you! For details, visit www.barcast.tv |

Look out Midwest Grill... Here comes Rodizio!
East Broadway abuzz with new restaurant openings...
This spring will be a time for new things on East Broadway, as 2 new restaurants prepare to open their doors. To accompany the opening of Maya Sol, a Mexican restaurant preparing to launch at 175 Broadway (next to Casey's) is RODIZIO, a Brazilian style BBQ to be located at 129 Broadway.
Similar to the Midwest Grill in Inman Square, Rodizio servers will bring a selection of meat around to be sliced at the table. For vegetarians...alas, Brazilians are known for their love of fresh fruits and salads...and we'll keep our fingers crossed for tofu served hot off the grill! Grand Opening - tba. | |
