Name Changes and Mergers
Center for Professional Studies & Center for Applied IT
Effective August 15th, Extended Education & Online Learning will be known as the Center for Professional Studies. Additionally, DECO's two IT applied research groups, the Center for Applied IT (CAIT) and Information Systems Solutions (ISS) are merging. Under the Center for Applied IT name, the organization will provide business solutions and consulting services and opportunities for training and professional development. On June 22, 2011 the DECO staff members gathered together to celebrate the accomplishments of their peers. DECO recognized staff with five and ten years of service and the Vice President presented several staff members with annual awards for exceptional work.
