The University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service engages the expertise of the statewide university to help leaders in government, business and law enforcement solve real-world problems every day. In fiscal year 2008, this assistance meant more than $1 billion of economic impact in Tennessee as local governments and industries increased revenue, won contracts or reduced operating costs.
