Stand Up, Speak Up and Show Up for Comprehensive Sexuality Education for North Carolina!
House Bill 879 to be considered in committee on April 26; Now is the time to act!
Raleigh, NC- House Bill 879 is finally scheduled to go before the House Health Committee on Thursday, April 26 at 11:30 am.  We need you to contact your representatives, especially if they're on the Health Committee.  In addition, we need you to show up at the Legislature and show your support in person.

This bill represents the best chance for comprehensive sexuality education that North Carolina has seen in some time.  It combines the best of abstinence education with the best of comprehensive sexuality education to create something that is better than the sum of its parts.  As the recent Mathematica study indicates, Abstinence alone doesn't work.  This bill offers a better education for our youth.  Speak up, North Carolina, and let your voice be heard for better sexuality education for our children.
