Welcome to the new ZimmNews
Greetings!
We just updated the theme of our flagship news blog, AgWired, so we thought we'd udate our newsletter too. ZimmNews has continued to evolve with the advice and encouragement of many of you. Let us know your ideas and suggestions so we can continue to make it more useful to you.

New Media Tip Afraid to blog because you don't think you can write a lot of "stuff?" Then Twitter and tweet away at 140 characters per post. You can see Chuck's latest post on Twitter at the top of AgWired now. If you want, you can start following Chuck on Twitter.
Think of it as a sort of mini blog you can create and update even more easily than a regular blog. Go ahead. What are you waiting for?

Where Have We Been Lately? Battling the winter weather we've made it to the National Farm Machinery Show, National Ethanol Conference, Commodity Classic and some new media training at Cal-Poly.
Thank you to sponsors of our coverage of these events including John Deere, BASF, Renewable Fuels Association and New Holland. We really appreciate and enjoy working with them to create some of the best online event coverage you're going to find anywhere.

Where Are We Going? To start with, ZimmComm will be exhibiting once again at the 2008 Agri-Marketing Conference in Kansas City, MO. Stop by and see if you've been blogged on AgWired in order to be entered into our drawing for a personalized iPod touch. If you haven't been blogged yet, we'll take care of that and enter you anyway. Chuck will be cross-posting on AgWired and on the NAMA Blog.
Other events coming up in April include the Alltech International Symposium in Lexington, KY and then May is jam-packed and we'll feature more about that in next month's ZimmNews.
Consider having us cover your event or sponsor our coverage of an industry event. Some events coming up we're seeking sponsors for include AgWired coverage of the NAMA Convention, the Ag Media Summit, IFAJ Congress and the NAFB Convention.

What Others Are Saying We love getting feedback and fortunately it's usually positive. Here's a sample of a few comments that we've received recently:
"I was reading your coverage last year and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to you doing it again." Regarding AgWired coverage of the CMA Music Festival.
"Thanks!!! You covered a lot of ground in the time allotted." After Chuck's AAEA blogging webinar.
"Your handwriting is great!!" Referring to Chuck's writing the word "AgWired" in the sand on the beach in CA and posting a picture of it.
"Thanks again, Chuck, for giving our class a taste of the blogging world from your personal experience. It's amazing how self-directed a career in blogging is! Hope you gain even more success as you continue supplying the web with your great content." From a student in a class Chuck spoke to recently.
"As always, you did a stand-up job as our blogger and photographer at the NEC. You're a pro! I look forward to working with you again next year." Comments from RFA CEO Bob Dinneen after the National Ethanol Conference.

The AgWired We
It's all about "community," not just an audience. It's what makes Agwired work. We're in this together, you and I. The blog allows us to interact. Although we refer to what's posted as "content," it's really all part of the online conversation we're having together. Read more about this concept here.
