The 35th Annual NAHN (National Association of Hispanic Nurses) Conference was held July 22 & 23, 2010 in Washington, DC. This years' theme was "Transforming Policy to Support Healthy Communities for Latinos". The Conference provided Nurses with the ideal environment to disseminate and gain current knowledge about issues related to Hispanic health disparities, Hispanic healthcare research, policy development, issues related to rural Hispanic healthcare, as well as behavioral and social environmental issues in Hispanic healthcare. Nurses gained current knowledge to integrate into practice and leadership.

Sara Mora -- RN, BSN and Doctoral student at U Penn School of Nursing.

We're looking forward to next year's 36th Annual NAHN Conference at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, July 19-22, 2011.
