NSNA Conference Recap
This year's Conference was held April 7 - 11 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Over 2,500 Nursing students at various levels of education, as well as their professors attended the Conference. This was our 3rd consecutive year exhibiting at the NSNA Conference and the DiversityNursing.com booth was swamped with enthusiastic, well-educated and diverse nurses. We were delighted to see the next generation of nurses.
According to a NSNA 2008 online survey:
· NSNA members are influential leaders in their state and school associations
· 93% plan on continuing their education
· 75% plan to specialize
· 82% would most likely accept employment in another geographical areas of the country
· 47% are 26 years old or older
