NBNA (National Black Nurses Association)
Conference a Great Success

NBNAmultiplepicks

Last month DiversityNursing.com was an exhibitor at the National Association of Hispanic Nurses Annual Conference in Boston. We've just recently returned from the National Black Nurses Association's 36th Annual Conference at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, the city of "lights and entertainment", August 4 - 8. DiversityNursing.com was an Exhibitor at this very busy and well attended (over 1,400 attendees) conference.

The conference theme was "Nursing Practice: The Prevention and Management of Chronic Diseases". Topics included the struggle with health care disparities and the tremendous impact of chronic diseases in the black community along with the ongoing issue of recruitment and retention of nurses. Our booth was consistently busy with visitors from both attendees and fellow exhibitors.

We had the opportunity to meet many nurses and representatives from healthcare institutions, nursing schools, companies and the military. They were thrilled to see us there and enthusiastic about our dedication to diversity in the nursing profession. Many are visiting our site to learn of the healthcare institutions that embrace diversity and their job opportunities.

*** Congratulations to Gail Johnson on winning the $150 Coach gift certificate drawing!!!
