Greetings!
 Well, December is here! I'm an early Christmas shopper, but there still always SO many things to get done in December; is that true with you? I feel like I'm scrambling!
There is a natural holiday momentum that we experience in December. There is simply "something in the air" that is different than the rest of the year.

 During the holiday season, people are already empowered by the rise in momentum that naturally occurs within the culture. People have a great feeling at this time of year. Staff are looking forward to time off, to spending time with family. People are more energetic, more compassionate, more caring and giving, in general.
If you are more excited and energetic, it will be contagious. This is a time for encouragement. Focus this passion into exciting things that are coming up after the first of the year. Give tidbits of things to come; things to look forward to. You can capture a natural excitement and help your staff and colleagues connect that to things to be accomplished and experienced in the near future.
Lead through the holidays by focusing the excitement in the air in positive ways, creating positive goals, and something exciting to look forward to! |
