Ramah in the Rockies Receives $1 Million Grant
for Capital Development
Dear Friends of Ramah:
The National Ramah Commission is delighted to announce a very generous challenge grant which will provide up to $1 million in funding for needed capital expenditures at Ramah in the Rockies, the site of our newest overnight camp in Colorado, Ramah Outdoor Adventure (ROA). As ROA continues to grow, these funds will be used to create more camper and staff housing, dining room space, and other infrastructure improvements, as well as additional programming space for new and existing camp activities.
ROA, created through the generosity of the Jim Joseph Foundation through the Specialty Camp Incubator of the Foundation for Jewish Camp, is Ramah's first specialty camp. Campers participate in extraordinary outdoor adventure experiences, all within a traditional Ramah camp setting.
This challenge grant was awarded to Ramah by an anonymous donor to help secure the camp's future for hundreds more campers in the coming years. This is the lead gift in a new capital campaign of Ramah in the Rockies to expand capacity to meet growing demand in a safe and comfortable environment.
To find out more about the inspiring programs at Ramah Outdoor Adventure or to enroll a camper, please contact Rabbi Eliav Bock, Director.
For information on how to support the new capital campaign, please contact Tammy Dollin, Project Director of Ramah in the Rockies.

Best wishes for a sweet and joyous Pesach.
