For those of you who missed the Taste of the NFL on February 5, below is the scoop:
Besides great food and wine, celebrity chefs, football stars, Martina McBride, and Miss America the 20th Annual Taste of the NFL hit their goal of $1 million! Thank you for all who attended and helped to reach the goal.
"We raised a record $1 million for hunger relief which proves that everything is bigger in Texas," said Wayne Kostroski, founder of Taste of the NFL. "It truly was a Texas-sized party, and we couldn't have reached our goal without our amazing line-up of chefs and players representing each NFL market, the founding chefs and players who returned to make special appearances and the tremendous support of the entire North Texas community."
Chef Kent and his brother, Atlanta Chef Kevin, may be from different NFL cities, however they came together to raise $20,000 for their live auction package.
