2012 ASIA Adult Adoptee Leadership Conference
ASIA is launching a new program and would like to invite fearless adult adoptees to our first International Adult Adoptee Leadership Conference on June 2, 2012.
The purpose of this Korean Adult Adoptee Leadership Conference is three fold: 1) Gather together to share our stories with others, 2) learn more about our culture and ourselves as we strive to unleash all of the inner resources we have been given, 3) begin to realize that we are a powerful voice in our community and we will make significant strides to helping others through our leadership.
Guest Speakers: Rev. Joshua Kim, Korean adoptee, Seoul Korean Baptist Church Eunice Park-Lee, Korean American, Chair of ASIA board Grace Song, ASIA Executive Director Margie Perscheid, adoptive parent, President of Korean Focus

Korean Focus of Metro DC offers information and support to families interested in Korean culture and the Korean American community. Our members and friends include adoptive families, adopted Korean Americans, and Korean American families. All are welcome! Chapters in Cincinnati, Northern Maryland, Seattle and Indianapolis.

Crash Course in Korean Language for Parents
June 9 in Rockville
Prospective, waiting and new parents (adoptee and adoptive)who would like to learn the words and phrases typical of Korean parent-child dialog are invited to an afternoon of Korean language conversation and Korean culture.
Led by Korean Language Instructor Sung Lee
