Announcing the 2012 Korean Focus Board of Directors
Following is the proposed slate of candidates for the 2012 Korean Focus Board of Directors. By indicating your approval / non-approval of these candidates, you participate in the leadership of this organization, which strives to involve its supporters as much as possible.Please take a moment to review the slate of candidates and follow these instructions, as described in the Korean Focus by-laws:

- If you do not approve the slate or if you have a write-in candidate, including yourself, contact us via email by midnight ET Thursday, February 2, 2012 to provide your response.

Celebrate the Year of the Black Dragon at the
Korean Focus - KUMCGW Lunar New Year Celebration
February 4th in McLean, VA
On January 23rd, an auspicious year began in the Asian zodiac: the Year of the Black Dragon. Dragons are important symbols in Asian mythology and culture, so a dragon year is always cause for celebration.BBecause of the unique combination of the zodiac symbols and five traditional colors, a lucky black dragon year comes only every 60 years. This is definitely a year to celebrate, so join the Korean United Methodist Church and Korean Focus for the best Korean Lunar New Year celebration in the Metro DC area!
Date & Time: Saturday February 4th, 1 - 4 PM

3:45 - 4:00: Closing and Raffle Take a chance on winning great prizes from local vendors, and support future events in the process! There will be plenty of time for socializing with old friends and new, too!
