Kaaren Lynn Ray
Internationally known Voice Consultant and ordained priest, Kaaren Lynn Ray will speak at the monthly
meeting of the Institute of Noetic Science on Wednesday, September 17th, 2008 at the Sahara West Library on Sahara Boulevard. The meeting will begin at 7 PM with the hour-long presentation and question and answer session following.
A clinically trained voice therapist and conservatory-trained Mezzo Soprano, Ms Ray is " the Bay Area Teacher of the Teachers" and Preferred Voice teacher for the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. A Master Voice Teacher and coach, she is in demand on the professional speaking and singing circuits as an inspirational workshop presenter utilizing both traditional Western and innovative Eastern practices in her work. In addition, her experience includes seasoned work as both a choral clinician and preparation coach for dramatic, opera and musical theatre productions.
San Francisco-based, Kaaren Ray is the Human Rights Missioner priest for the Inclusive Celtic Church where she has served homeless, terminally ill, children and other at-risk community members for several years.
Rev. Ray will speak on Voice Integration and Empowerment. The presentation will be interactive in nature as she shares aspects of her philosophy of voice and her acclaimed vocal warm-up regimen.
