Executive Transition Services Celebrates 100th Interim Placement
This past fall, the Executive Transition Services (ETS) program commemorated its 100th executive placement since the program started in 2001.
The ETS Team is a cohort of 17 highly skilled and experienced nonprofit leaders who love transitions.Our concept is to take an inherently stressful time (a transition) and think about how we can make it productive, exciting, and transformative rather than a time to just "survive."

It's Not Too Late to Participate in the 2011 Daring to Lead Study Daring to Lead is a one-of-a-kind national survey that will help the nonprofit community learn more about the unique challenges of today's nonprofit executive directors. You can find more information on our website.
Survey participants are eligible to enter a drawing for a free workshop or free pass to the entire season of one of our seven peer networks (up to a $200 value). To enter the drawing, please complete the survey and then send an email with your name and contact information to daringtolead@nonprofitoregon.org.
Get Your Organization Profiled Members of the Nonprofit Association of Oregon are invited to submit photos to be included on the Home Page of our new website in the Member Photo Gallery. Our aim is to feature some of the good works nonprofits do in our communities every day. We are looking for photos that demonstrate your mission in action. For instructions on how to submit photos, contact abeddow@nonprofitoregon.org.
We also plan to feature the good works of our nonprofit members by linking to news stories in our online News Room. Portland Business Journal Seeks Nonprofit Partners for 2011
The Portland Business Journal is once again looking to select four nonprofit organizations to support with advertising, employee volunteers, and other services for the next year. Their goal is to focus as much support in the way of branding and promotions behind a small number of organizations to give them wide exposure to their business audience. Application deadline is Friday, December 3, 2010 and is available online.
Idealware Announces New Initiative The eLearning Library features interactive modules and other short training videos to help small to medium sized nonprofits make smart software decisions. Still in the pilot project phase, they are releasing two free modules: - Twitter vs. Facebook Are you struggling to decide whether your organization should be using Facebook, Twitter, or both? Or perhaps neither? This 15 minute interactive module will help you to explore how these tools can help your organization, and what other nonprofits are doing with them.
