No Training Budget - We Still Love You!

No training budget? Ok, not the best news we have heard lately...but, we are still here for you! Throughout 2009 we will be sending you ideas, resources, etc. on how to continue to train and develop your human capital when you have a low or no training budget. YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE YOUR LARGEST ASSET! Please keep that in mind. They need fine tuning and attention throughout the next year...
To Do: Communication can make or break your success. Do you have employees that you don't see very often? Podcast news & notes to them weekly (updates, company news, things to be aware of that week, etc.) that they can download to their phone or mp3 player. Your employees can listen to your messages weekly and feel like they have stayed in touch with you! This can go A LONG way towards keeping everyone in the loop and on the same page. (Don't know how to podcast? Give us a call, we can point you in the right direction - it is so easy, even I can do it!)

Resource Review: Presentation Critique

There are many ways NSBT can help you in your public speaking development:
- Live Critique. We sit in the back of the room during your presentation and meet with you immediately afterward to provide specific feedback on that presentation, your overall style and make suggestions for future presentations. Investment is dependent on time and travel.
- Video Critique. You send us a video of a presentation. We review it, and provide feedback either written or verbal - you decide which would be most beneficial. Investment varies dependent on method of feedback.
- Pre-Presentation Critique. You are giving a critical presentation and want it to be the best it can be. You are worried about your delivery and your use of PowerPoint. We will have you present a mock presentation and will then assist you with preparing it for the real show. Investment is dependent on time and travel.
Put it this way, remember back to the last presentation you attended where you were bored out of your mind and didn't really get anything out of...and had to read a 750 slide PowerPoint along with the presenter. Do you think that presenter is aware of their inability to get and keep the audience engaged?! Do you want to be that presenter???
