Teacher Training at JSY
Dancer

On July 31, 2009
we begin our next
200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Just as not all studios and teachers are alike, not all teacher trainings are alike. I really am proud to offer this particular training with Yoganand.  The training will offer you all the foundational skills and experiences necessary to effectively teach a yoga class suitable for most body types, from people working with physical awarenesses to people who want more of a yoga workout.

The focus of our training is teaching:  We will guide you to finding your own voice for communicating with students to facilitate their body safety, and cultivate transformational personal growth. All program participants will begin sitting in the role of the teacher on the first weekend, and the scope and length of the teaches increase over the duration of the course.

We also focus on detailed, personal feedback for each student. You will know after each training session what you are you doing well and what areas you need to focus on to cultivate your teaching skills. As facilitators, we will coach to improve your skills and make you a great yoga teacher.

More information can be found here.
And here is where you can get an application.

If you're curious about doing the training, please contact me at Bill@JaiShantiYoga.com

Next training starts July 2010.
