Re-Opening Saturday January 23rd

Greetings!
"All good things come to an end." a saying
that may be true but I don't have to believe
in it, do I? Well we'll be home soon and hit
the road running with a re-opening the very
next day Saturday January 23rd. Look at our
Fair Play icon for the month of January and
notice we're above the fog and below the snow
95% of the time. We call it the Sunbelt of
the Sierra Foothills and you can enjoy sunny
days captured in our new garden patio with
amazingly warm temperatures. And if a storm
is brewing we keep our Lodge and tasting room
quite cozy too.
The tasting room will be pouring our great
lineup plus sneak previewing some up and
coming new wines too. Our Winetasters' Lunch
menu will be available all day on Saturday
and Sunday and would be wonderful to enjoy
out in our sunny new garden patio (or inside
if the weather doesn't cooperate).

EDWA's Barrel tasting Weekend starts Saturday January 30th |

This is a cool event and for us one of the
only opportunities you'll have to descend
into our wine cellars and taste wines right
from our barrels and chat about them with me,
the big and getting older winemaker. I
candlelight the cellar to make it even more
fun and romantic. And we'll prepare a
spread of foods to enjoy with our wines too.
You can buy tickets in advance at
www.eldoradowines.org for $20 through 1/23 or
$25 at the door. there's a Sunday only ticket
and a Friends 4 Pak for the price of three so
check it out and buy your tickets. 21 wine
cellars will keep you buzy all weekend as El
Dorado brings out the barrels.

a heads up to make plans to stop by
Fitzpatricks, maybe even book a room now,
during the cozy month of February.

Renewals and first time members will be accepted starting February 2010
We've got incredible new wines to start
rolling out and continue to roll out
throughout 2010 and you're invited and
encouraged to join and rejoin our Wine
fellowship for 2010. Here comes a fresh 2009
Sangre de Montana, an incredible 2008 Pinot
Noir and the classy rich Morrissey's Journey
- our Ruby port of Syrah. Let me not forget
too our first Petite Sirah. Followed by such
fabled wines as our next Tir na nOg and on
and on.
We'll have a great time with these wines and
things we'll do around their releases and
celebrations. Membership pays dividends all
year long so do yourself and your pocket book
a favor in 2010, become a Wine Fellowship member.
