June 6 & 7 This Saturday and Sunday
16 wineries of fair Play will be participating this year
and if you've never been what makes this festival
unique is that we don't all meet under one roof
somewhere. You visit each winery on their own
grounds to discover their own uniquely different open
house festivity over the two day period. And just in from
this morning winery association meeting, due to a typo
in our advertising our $30 tickets at the door will be
only $15. What a great deal, cheaper than our Sunday
only ticket so gather your friends and come join all the
fun both Saturday and Sunday for $15.
Fitzpatrick Winery & Lodge catapults into its 4th decade of winemaking in Fair Play with major additions to its repertoire of good times and fine wines. We welcome Fair Play Wine Festival goers to come see and experience the enthusiastic change afoot. You'll notice big changes as soon as you step out of your car. You're invited to try an offering from our new Winetasters' Menu for ½ price. The famous and most talented folk/rock duo Anderson and Gram will entertain you with familiar covers as well as their own hits. Our new lineup of our Certified Organically Grown estate wines will impress you and our modest prices plus special festival values will make it well worth your while. Slainte! |

Dinner Concert starting at 6PM Saturday
All things considered over a lifetime of concert
experiences, a night out on the deck under the stars at
Fitzpatrick's with an up close and personal concert
with the high energy Celtic/Rock band Tempest will
forever rate high on your memory scale. Most guests
keep on coming back every year.
The food is always great and plentiful and roasted in the wood-fired oven by the ovenmaster/winemaker himself. Dessert is included and served between musical sets. Fitzpatrick wines are the drink of the night but there's a full range of Irish brews to enjoy too. By night's end you'll be up and dancing just to top off a perfect night. Call us at 800-245-9166 for reservations asap. |

| 7 days a week all year round |
located at the Metreon on 4th acrooss from Moscone Center
Having just opened May 14th, San Francisco's Earth
Island Farmers' Market at the Metreon is open 7 days
a week. Right across from the Moscone Center with a
door that opens onto Yerba Buena Park, the market
offers all the produce, food vendors, select wines (like
Fitzpatrick) and more. And the managers are trying to
think of everything to make your shopping not only fun
but convenient. For instance you can come shop on
your lunch hour or break and valet your groceries for a
pick up on your way by after work. You just call ahead
and a runner will have your bags at the curb waiting to
load you up - pretty cool, huh.
I've stocked the market with almost all our wines with a good inventory. There will be tastings of select wines daily too. And I'll be there every other week on Wednesday and/or Thursday to meet and greet and sell our wines. Our wines will be available 7 days a week in San Francisco. Enjoy! And if you have a special order, I can bring it down with no shipping charge. |

Fitzpatrick Wines as convenient as going to the market (Farmers Market that is)
Don't forget Fitzpatrick wines are available every
Saturday at both the Davis Farmers Market and the
Sunrise Farmers Market (behind Sears) and on
Sundays in Sacramento under the freeway at 6th and
X. These are year round markets with everything you
need to enjoy life and be healthy. I bring just about our
whole lineup of wines and always have Farmers
Market Specials as well as our current tasting room
deals. This is the way life should be - check it out!

Try something from our new WineTasters' Menu
We've expanded our food offerings on Saturdays and
Sundays beyond our famous Ploughmans' Lunch.
Don't get me wrong the Ploughmans Lunch will
always remain as our foundation stone but how about
some more homemade choices like mini crab cakes,
hearty Turkey sandwich, Irish Cobb Salad, Katie's
Hummus and medley of chips, a Chocolate Lover's
Plate, Go Nuts medley of organic nuts, seasonal
specials and more. The idea is the winetasting
experience is much better with food whether enjoying
food standing at the bar as you taste our wines or
taking a break and relaxing on the deck with some
more substantial fare.

Please Read before you Assume
Part of our new look entering our fourth decade is to
service our customers better. We've been the only
winery to offer a nourishing break from the rigors of
winetasting since we started serving our Ploughmans
Lunch in 1988. Now we're stepping up to offer you
more choices and ways to enhance your wine tasting
experience. This takes extra staff and resources and
time to develop but we know the need is there and
Fitzpatrick's better than any other winery has the ideal
location and facilties to meet the challenge.
We need your cooperation and respect to succeed. At Fitzpatricks we live by two Irish Commandments: 1) Take nothing for granted (Ask first). 2) Be Good or Be Gone. Follow those two rules and life will be wonderful and a good time will be had by all. The New Rules regarding Picnics are 1)Ask First (this privilege is at the discretion of the Fitzpatricks), 2)Pay a $5/person cover charge, 3)No beverages allowed other than those offered by Fitzpatricks, 4)Be Responsible for cleaning up your area, 5)Be Good or Be Gone. What's sad of course is those that read this probably don't need to and naturally show the appropriate respect. So you'll understand then if we need to confront those that don't. |
