Now I'm not known for my perfect timing, but, this year I
captured the white wines of 2006 young and fresh and
lively. Already bottled these whites are in perfect timing
to enjoy with the season's onset of outdoor living and
warmer weather.
Meet the new Eire Ban, our Sauvignon Blanc, which
we captured by harvesting earlier in a lighter
exceptionally food-friendly style. A seafood wonder,
especially pairing with white fish, crustaceans and
mollusks, this Sauvignon Blanc also longs for pairing
with all things creamy from sauces to cheesy
concoctions. Vegetables go naturally and wonderfully
with this classic of table wines. This is one to keep an
ample stock on hand because you and your guests
can slip through a few bottles at a setting. Don't worry
the price is very appealing by the bottle $10 or by case
(only $7.50). But as our Gold memeber you get the
$7.50 price from bottle one.
It's a new day for Fitzpatrick Chardonnay. Finally I got it.
The 2006 Chardonnay delivers plenty of arousing
aroma with a balance of fruit, toasty oak, a little
creamy butter but in a lighter friendlier mouthfeel. You
can rush home to this one and pour a cool glass to
degas all that wound-up stress of another day in your
life. And pour another as you fix dinner. And you'll still
be standing and able to enjoy another glass with
dinner because we made it lighter. Of course don't you
dare go anywhere (no driving); just settle down and
relax. And again no need to worry, this one is modestly
priced too. $12 by the bottle or by the case (only $9).
but as our Gold Members you get the $9 price from
bottle one.
So, with timing so perfect releasing these whites just
as the season warms up, I'm altering the wine release
schedule and releasing these two wines right now for
you to start enjoying. This leaves only one wine to pick
up later tba in late May - the 2004 Syrah. The other two
wines will be available in the next Wine Fellowship
cycle.
