Now that the busy Holiday season is wining down and Santa has delivered all the packages, we're packing our bags and flying south to Olde Mexico for a family vacation. You see I'm already headed to the beach.

For the first time ever ( for Diana's peace of mind) we are closing our winetasting and B&B doors from January 4th through the 26th. Gates will be locked and Dennis will be busy taking advantage of no traffic to paint some rooms. But we'll be back and open with a bang on January 27th, 2006

Having grown up at the beach (Long Beach Island, New Jersey), I'm like a fish out of water here in the foothills and can't wait each year to submerge myself back into the ocean. Once under the water, all is quiet, no cell phones, no thoughts just wonderment and easy breathing. Going down deep is really a high for me. After a few weeks of underwater bliss and my thoughts start to wander back to Fair Play, I know it's either time to come home or I won't be coming home at all.
