Did You Know We Also Treat Animals?

It's true--Dynasplint Systems has a Veterinary Division.  We have been successfully treating horses, alpacas, dogs and other animals with the same splint design that works so well for human patients.

Spotlight on the Veterinary Division

The Veterinary Division of Dynasplint Systems, created in 2004, has successfully restored range of motion to so many horses, alpacas, dogs and other animals.

Our products are non-invasive and are considered to be the gentle solution to restore physical function to animals that suffer from lost range of motion, congential and acquired contractures and angular deformities.

As with all Dynasplint Systems, our units apply a low-load, prolonged-duration stretch to create a permanent length change in the soft tissue.

Some of the diagnoses we treat for the large animal, are:
  • Flexural deformities
  • Angular deformities
  • Post-surgical support
  • Other conditions

Some of the diagnoses we treat for the small animal, are:

  • Tendon and ligament repairs
  • Quadricep tie downs
  • Stifle flexion contracture
  • Carpal flexion contracture
  • Increased hock flexion
  • Post trauma
  • Nerve injuries
  • Other neurological conditions

Reviews:

"I have used the Dynasplint System on several foals to correct flexural deformities of the carpus with great success...I would highly recommend the Dynasplint for the treatment of flexural deformities of the carpal joint."
 --Charles Haugh, DVM; Cordelia Stables

"Dynasplint is a valuable tool in my rehabilitation practice, both with two-legged human patients and four-legged canine patients.  It's certainly a welcome addition in the field of small animal rehabilitation, a recent collaborative effort between physical therapy and veterinary medical professionals.  Not only does Dynasplint allow my patients to "take my hands home with them, but I'm certainly assured that my patients and clients will be compliant, safe, and comfortable with their range of motion home programs."
--Amie Lamoreaux Hesback, MSPT, CCRP; For Paws Rehabilitation
