The Ankle is Fundamental to Our Mobility
Ankle fractures, arthroplasty, Achilles tendon ruptures or repairs, and neurological conditions like a brain stem injury can all lead to limited ankle range of motion. Plantar fasciitis or heel spurs can lead to chronic pain. Because the ankle is fundamental to our mobility, it is important to maintain optimal ankle range of motion and pain-free feet.
To optimize your patients' range of motion treatment, Dynasplint offers ortho and neuro ankle units for dorsiflexion and plantar flexion in infant, pediatric and adult sizes. We also offer several boot options such as the Inversion/Eversion Control Boot.
Additionally, for years patients have been significantly challenged with regaining range of motion after severe trauma and immobilization due to external fixation and limb-lengthening. Range of motion is lost along with the impact of functional use of the limb. Therefore we've adapted the product line to make an attachment to help these issues. The External Fixator Dynasplint Systems are fit post-operatively for prevention and treatment of range of motion loss and deficits, specifically in limb-lengthening to hold the patient's tissue at surgical lengthening.
Whatever the unit, a wearing schedule will be developed to fit the patient's needs and lifestyle. Keep the gains between therapy visits with Dynasplint!
