There's always lots of fun activities and programs to choose from at OUTreach! This week, we feature:
Getting ready for Day of Silence!
GSA Regional Meeting, 3:45-4:30
Weber High School GSA President Lincoln Parkin will talk about how his GSA has gotten ready for the big day. Plus peer support, GSA leader/member brainstorming and support, and printing teacher letters, speaking cards and Lambda Legal's "Know your student rights."
Teen Health and Leadership Class
Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30. Last week OUTreach youth made awesome healthy and safe relationship posters - what's up this week? Our intrepid Weber-Morgan Health Department instructors are full of surprises, but you can bet it will be fun and part of the planning for upcoming community educational events.
Heather Ambrose, PhD, LMFT, LPC is an amazing therapist who volunteers her time counseling youth, adults and families at OUTreach.
Want to learn more? Stop by and chat with Dr. Ambrose on Wednesdays!

Kudos to Lincoln Parkin, winner of Ogden Rotary Club's Service Above Self Award!
|
|
| | On the heels of his ACLU Student Activist honor, Lincoln has now won a $3,000 scholarship towards his college education.
Lincoln is an amazing youth, someone who not only will make the world a better place - he already has through his volunteer hours, taking the lead at the Weber High GSA, mentoring peers, and truly exemplifying "service above self."
