CFGNB is serving your community!
Greetings!

I'm feeling Power-full, and I hope you are too. I'm not saying that just because the lights are finally on again at the CFGNB office, but because during times of trouble, neighbors help neighbors-communities come together. As an individual, I find it energizing to feel the power of togetherness.

Webster's defines "community" as "mutual participation". We get a good feeling from mutual participation. That positive emotion is our ingrained reward system that continues to bind us to one another throughout time. We are stronger and better when helping each other...and the delight we get from community building activities is the proof.

That's the work we attempt to do every day at your Community Foundation-recognizing needs, building bonds, funding assistance and supporting positive change. Together, with all of you, we build community in Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington. And that's powerful.

Sincerely,
Jim Williamson Signing Off
