NASCAR

NASCAR returns to ABC7 with the Nationwide Series and the Spring Cup Series. The engines rev up for the Nationwide Series on Saturday, May 5 at Talladega and then continues on to Charlotte on May 26, followed by Michigan on June 16 and concludes in Watkins Glen on August 11.

The three-part Sprint Cup Series begins on August 25 at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee, then turns towards Richmond before lining up for the final race in Charlotte in October.

As a compliment to the races, ABC7 is also airing seven NASCAR 2012 Specials beginning in June and continuing to December. These one hour specials report on the NASCAR season to date and recaps the best sights, sounds and non-stop action of the best of the season's races and sets the stage for an inside look at what's to come ... all in HD. It is the only NASCAR programming to be produced for syndication by NASCAR.
