Touchwork: Integrating energy work into massage with other touch therapies. This is an intro to practitioners to want to integrate energy practices into massage. Topics will include: Working at the cusp of structure and energy, The physical body as a "handle" on physical, emotional and psycho-spiritual processes, A non-modality-bound approach to energetic bodywork, and The development from bodyworker to healer Recurring psycho-spiritual themes in energetic work and their application in energy-active bodywork.
School News:
New 3-week Intensive 130-hour program
Due to the upcoming CAMTC increase in certification hours, we have had many interested in obtaining a Conditional Massage Practitioner license through Fair Oaks Massage School. Until January 1st, 2010 conditional certification can be achieved by fulfilling our 130-hour course.
Because of this peak in interest we have opened up a three week intensive 130-hour program along side our current night and day training programs currently running. So, take advantage of our intensives and get your conditional certification before the California requirement more than doubles in 2012 and then quadruples by 2015.
Dates for these programs are tentatively:
11/07/2011 - 12/02/2011 from 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
12/05/2011 - 12/29/2011 from 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Program Information
Fair Oaks Massage Institute offers a variety of massage therapy certification programs and continuing education classes.
Our Massage Practitioner program combines the Massage Therapy Program (130 Hours) with the Deep Tissue (Medical) Massage Certification (120 Hours) to give you eligibility to apply for California State certification as a Certified Massage Practitioner.
This is our most common program for new students just starting out in massage therapy; offering core development in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue and some advanced techniques.
Open Enrollment- Classes Starting Every 6-7 Weeks All Programs With Flexible Start Dates
