Look Up!

Thank you to all the Rose Park residents that signed the petition for change in the overhead cables covering our neighborhood!

Now we are going to ask you to do it again through our online petition for change.

This request/complaint will be sent directly to Verizon executives in an effort to draw attention to their responsibility for these unsightly cables.

Please sign the petition here: Don't deface our neighborhood

History Project
Scholars from our E. 7th Street history project are joined with community historians to share specifics of Rose Park, Craftsman Village and North Alamitos Beach. Maureen Neeley, Claudine Burnett, librarians and historians discuss how this area developed in the early 1900's.

Mark your calendars for Saturday March 31

Light Up Rose Park: Home Security Lighting

Increased security lighting in the neighborhood is a way for Rose Park residents to deter crime and compensate for the occasional old tree blocking your streetlight.

Criminals will probably avoid streets in our neighborhood that are well lit.

Just imagine a safer street after dark!

Please consider purchasing solar motion activated lights that have a range equal to or longer than the distance from the light to the sidewalk.  As people walk along at night they will be illuminated as they go, making the street safer and helping iwatch participants.
