Arguing...
"Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife." 2 Timothy 2:22-23
How easy is it to get pooled into some foolish argument? We often allow ourselves to get involved in ignorant and endless arguments with others who don't see things as we do. Sometimes it's with our brother and sisters in the Lord, and even worst, sometimes with the lost of this world. We are to shine as lights in this world! But, that is difficult to do when we're fighting with it, when we get upset and begin to act as a fool, instead of a light! We are to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. We can't do that when we're running after a fight! Refuse to get involved in ridiculous discussions that lead to frustration and hard feelings! Chose to be an instrument of peace that shines as a beckon of light! Let your actions proclaim the truth. They'll always speak louder than your words anyways. Remember, it takes two people to argue, refuse to be the second person.
"Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law." Romans 13:10
