"I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;"  

1 Timothy 2:8

The Bible tells us of God's desire to have all men saved. To have all men know there is only one God and One way to Heaven; Jesus! The Bible also tells us that we will be confronted by the forces of darkness as we set out to fulfill God's desire of having all men come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Because of this we are to continually pray! Prayer is how we do battle with the enemy. If we're not spending time in prayer, we're not going to be successful against the enemy. We struggle against spiritual forces, and the way we battle these forces is in prayer. We must pray as we set out to share the Gospel message with others. Pray for their salvation. Pray for wisdom in presenting the message of Christ to the lost. We cannot be successful without prayer! Make time daily to step on the spiritual battle field through prayer, and do battle for the lost souls of this world!

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men," 1 Timothy 2:1
