"Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass." Joshua 21:45

The Lord had made some incredible promises to the children of Israel, and there were many of them who never received the promises because they did not believe God could deliver what He had said. But for those who heard God's word and embarrassed the promises that were made to their fathers, they received them. As a matter of fact not one promise the Lord gave Israel failed to be delivered. The children of Israel had the promises of the Lord; they embraced them, and went out and received them, trusting the Lord to deliver what He had promised.

What a lesson for us to learn! If God says you can have it, you truly can. If God gives you a word embrace it, don't try to understand all the details of how it will come to pass, only trust the Lord to make it so. Don't be like the children of Israel who did not believe the Lord's promises and missed out on them, because of their unbelief. If God has promised you something trust God, and go receive what He has promised, allow God to give it to you His way and in His time.

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11
