"O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?" Galatians 3:1

The Galatian Church had experienced the grace that comes from knowing the resurrected Christ. They had been freed from trying to justify themselves by their own works, and had learned to depend on Jesus. But they were lead astray by false teachers, and lost their focus on Jesus. They stopped relying on the finished work of Jesus Christ, and began to trust in their own works.

When we lose our focus on Jesus, we begin to try and earn God's grace. When this happen we also begin to notice a lack of God's grace in our life. Jesus must always remain in clear focus! We must keep our eyes on Jesus, relying at all times on Him and His finished work on the cross! There will never come a day when we will deserve God's grace or favor. But the day has come, and it is right now that we can freely receive God's grace and favor! We have freely been justified by faith in Jesus, and if we will keep a clear focus on Heaven our life will continually abound in the blessings and grace of God! every day, in all situations, make Jesus your focus!
