"For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints." 2 Corinthians 8:3-4

Paul speaks of the generosity of the Churches of Macedonia. The churches there heard of others Christians who were poor and without, and were desperate to help them. Paul didn't ask them to help, they came to him with the desire to send relief to their brothers and sisters in the faith. What made this so amazing was the fact that the Macedonia churches were poor themselves! They were willing to give to help the poor, when they were financially strapped themselves.

God had put it in their heart to help the poor, and that's exactly what they were going to do! They weren't waiting for God to bring some great financial breakthrough before they acted. They acted according to God's Word! They were moved by what God had put in their hearts, trusting God to provide for all their needs! They chose to walk by faith!

Perhaps God has placed something in your heart that you are not capable of doing. Perhaps it is too financially difficult for you, or even beyond your natural abilities and know how. Trust God! Forget about what you can do, and rely on what God can do! Don't look at what you have, but at what God has! God doesn't put in our hearts to do what we can do on our own. God puts impossible in our hearts! He puts things in our hearts that we cannot do in our own natural state, things that we must trust Him for. God puts things in our hearts that require us to walk by faith! If God has placed something in your heart, and it corresponds to His Word, don't worry, just trust Him as you move forward, He will bring it to pass! After all, it's His vision not yours; He is merely giving you the opportunity to come along for the ride!
