"Nevertheless my brethren who went up with me made the heart of the people melt, but I wholly followed the LORD my God. "So Moses swore on that day, saying, 'Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children's forever, because you have wholly followed the LORD my God."         Joshua 14:8-9

Caleb was one of the twelve spies Moses sent out to spy out the land, only he and Joshua brought back a good report, trusting in the word of God. The other men forsook God's promise to give the land to Israel, and followed their hearts that were full of fear. These men who did not trust God's word did not receive His promise. Joshua and Caleb were the only two adults in the camp of Israel who wholly followed God, and received the land of Promise God had laid aside for them.

When we wholly follow the Lord, trusting in His word we will receive all He promises. Too often we draw back from following God because we don't understand how God is going to deliver what He has promised. It is not our part to figure God out; it is our part to trust Him wholly. Do you want all God has promised you? Do you want to see the promises in the bible manifested in your life? If the answer to these questions is yes, start trusting God and following after Him wholly, not leaning on your own understanding, but trusting in the word of the Lord knowing that it will not fail. Those who will live a life of faith trusting God's word will see it unveil in their life; they will receive the promises of God!

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6
