"But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--and righteousness and sanctification and redemption-- that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD." 1 Corinthians 1:30-31

Many in the Corinthian Church had begun to brag about different things. They glorified in who side they were on, they formed clicks. They took the "labors in the field" and made them into clubs; Apollos, Paul, Peter...they made clicks out of the disciples. Paul lets them know real quick, what they were doing was wrong! Christ had saved them, and no other! If they were going to boast about anything they needed to boast about Christ!

We can find many things today to glorify in. There are many achievements that God has given us the grace to achieve that we quickly take glory for that rightly belongs to Him. In all we do and in all we say we are to glorify Jesus! Everything we do in this life should point to Him! That includes all we say! Let us point others to Jesus by glorifying His name! Remember, if you're going to blow a horn, blow a trumpet for God!

"Thus says the LORD: Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD." Jeremiah 9:23-24
