"Blessed be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle" Psalm 144:1

The child of God is constantly warring against the enemy. The Bible makes it very clear who our enemy is when it say, "We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." The enemy we war against are the demonic forces of satan, who are determined to destroy the child of God. The child of God who stands up and decides to live a life of obedience to their Father in Heaven can be sure the enemy will notice, and not only will he notice, but he will come against the child of God with all he has. Yet we need not fear the enemy, for we have been given power of him. We must meet our enemy on the field of battle, which is no other place than the "prayer closet". Second Corinthians 4:10 tells us that "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds". So we battle the enemy through prayer and the Word of God, by the power of the Spirit of God living inside us. God has made us ready for war and we are fully able to meet the enemy on the field of battle and walk away victorious every time! The victory is ours through Christ Jesus!

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:10-11
