"Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You!" Psalm 119:11

The only Word we can put in our heart that will keep us from sin, is the Word of God. In John chapter one it says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." Jesus is the living Word of God that we are able to take into our hearts. This is the only Word that is able to keep us from sin. Many will read the Bible and continue to sin without remorse. But those who read the Bible with the living Word in their heart will lose the desire to sin. They may stumble at times, but the Word that is in their heart will continue to keep them cleansed from the stain of sin. Jesus, He is the Word of God we must take into our hearts. Jesus is the Word that keeps us from sin!

"clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart." 2 Corinthians 3:3
