"Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: "How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers has given you?" Joshua 18:3

Joshua had led the children of Israel into the land of promise, and to victory over the inhabitants of the land. God had given the land to the children of Israel, it was theirs; but at this point in our text there were still seven tribes that had not received their lands. Joshua tells them go get what belongs to you! The only reason they did not have the land was simply because they had not taken it.

Just imagine being given something you want, but never receiving it. That was the case with the children of Israel, and it is often the case with many Christians today. They ask for something and God gives it to them, yet they never receive it; they never receive because they never take it. If you're asking God for something and God's word says you can have it; go get it! If you're asking God for a job, go out and get it! Don't sit around and wait for it to come knocking on your door! Whatever it may be that you're seeking God for, if God says it's yours, go take it. We can't make God do anything, but when God says "YES", why wait? Go and receive your "YES" from God!
