"Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever." Psalm 118:1

God is good! He is good all the time! He is our Father in Heaven, and we are His children through Christ. Our Father who is SOOOOO good desires daily to show His children His goodness! God desires to lavish us with His goodness! It is certainly the goodness of God that worketh repentance! Through Jesus, God daily opens the windows of Heaven to pour out His goodness on us. We haven't done anything to deserve it, and we could never earn it, but our merciful Father continually shows His goodness to us! Even in the face of our failures and short comings, our Father in Heaven never fails to show His mercy and goodness to His children! Give thanks to God! He is GOOD, and thankfully for our sakes, His mercy does indeed endure forever!

"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2:4-7
