This is our harvest time!
For the past 47 years, MARC has been expanding the reach of the Gospel in Alaska by: flying people and supplies to places where there are no roads, supporting missionaries and their aircraft, and training missionary-minded pilots and mechanics. Together with your involved support, God has used our efforts greatly to change many lives.
Yet, we can't afford to rest! Satan continues to pour out his spiritual oppression upon the villages of remote Alaska and continues to attack with deadly trends of addiction, abuse, and suicide. So while many other Christian organizations have been retreating during the economic recession, we have been advancing forward. God didn't call us to stand by and wait for good times--He's called us for just a time like this! After all, the next generation of Native Alaskan Christians depends upon our counterattack.
In between our busy flying and maintenance schedule, we've been seriously planning for the future. Even though many ministries are being affected by the recession, God has been faithfully growing missionary activity across the state; and since many other ministries depend upon our operational support, we need to make sure we're postured to sustain growth. Although we fully trust in His provident direction, God has called us to do all things "decently and in order," so we believe strategic planning and intentionality is vital to good stewardship and spiritual growth.
Therefore, we've established very specific goals and objectives to accomplish over the next several years as we move forward in service to God. To maintain forward progress, we need to increase our maintenance staffing and capability, increase our flying program capabilities, upgrade and standardize our aircraft systems, modernize our aircraft support equipment, increase our training curriculum, and increase our focus on building godly stewardship relationships with like-minded Christians.
If you'd be interested in knowing more specifics, we would love to share our flight plan with you. We would also greatly appreciate your prayers and consideration as to what God would have you to do in support of God's work in Alaska. His life-changing love is the only solution for the villages of remote Alaska. In addition to praying for us, we're asking you to help us with two specific objectives as we approach the end of the year: First, to help us make a good start on our specific planning objectives, we're asking if you would consider making a special year-end donation to our general fund beyond your normal giving activity. Would you prayerfully consider making a $500 or $1000 donation? Or whatever amount God leads you to give. Yes, I want to help today! Second, we need to substantially grow relationships with new contacts. Would you prayerfully consider sharing information about MARC with several friends who aren't aware of the needs of Alaska and of MARC's vital ministry here? Ask them to allow you to share their address or email contact information with us, and then let us know how we can contact them. Yes, I want to share a contact! God bless you as help expand the reach of the Gospel in Alaska. In Christ, Your MARC Family |

The hope of Jesus Christ continues to bring life to many children and adults
across Alaska. With your help, MARC has ministered in over 80 different villages
already this year! Thank you for your involvement! |

Together God promises we're able to do great things for His purpose. We're very thankful for your active involvement and participation in making a difference in Alaska.
Our shared vision is to see lives changed, the reach of the Gospel expanded in Alaska, more effective ministries, and more workers serving the Kingdom of God.
Going forward, MARC intends to significantly grow our capability by making specific improvements in our maintenance capability, training curriculum, aircraft inventory, aviation facilities, and flying program equipment and supplies.
Each and every improvement we're targeting is increasingly necessary to halting today's downward spiral of needless death and suffering in the Native Alaskan community. We need to become more operationally effective and efficient.
These improvements are critical to serving the expanding ministry needs of the many missionary, church, evangelical, and relief and development organizations we support across Alaska. We need to take action immediately!
Hope is rapidly becoming a rare commodity in the communities of remote Alaska. The negative trends of assault, addiction, and abuse continue to outpace spiritual progress. We can't be content or satisfied with the "status quo."
Envisioning such change is certainly scary in today's economic environment. But, as you decide where God would have invest your time, talent, and treasure for His purpose, we pray you'll continue to share our vision of expanding the hope of Jesus Christ across Alaska.
Real change is made simple by the power of Jesus Christ. His accepted love has the promised power to change lives and to make all things new, and your help makes spreading the Good News of His love across the state possible. Please seek God's guidance on what He would have you do to help achieve our shared vision for remote Alaska. Please join our year-end support campaign! |

Don't
Forget |
We're making a substantial effort at growing our relationships with like-minded individuals, families, churches, small groups, and organizations who may share our passion for reaching the people of remote Alaska with the hope of Jesus Christ.
You can help by sharing MARC with several friends who aren't currently aware of MARC or the needs of Alaska. Ask them to allow you to share their address or email contact information with us, and then let us know how we can contact them.
If each of our supporting prayer stewards would do this, we could potentially double our impact in Alaska! Please help make a difference! |
You can forward new contacts via email or to MARC, P.O. Box 511, Soldotna AK 99669. Thanks! |
