An Opinion of Market Value ("OMV") is not a formal appraisal, but it can be used by management as a benchmark for internal planning purposes in estimating a range of value that the business should generate if sold to a third party acquirer.
The cost of the OMV will vary depending on the complexity of the business and its circumstances. If the business owner elects to retain FBB to go to market, a portion of that cost will be credited against other marketing expenses.
